Guild info

Glacier is a semi-hardcore guild with a big focus on having a friendly atmosphere and having fun while pushing raid content. We play seriously as we laugh and joke our way through the game. Our goal as we head into WoW Forever on PvE EU on the horde side is a clean sweep of whatever content is thrown at us. And more specifically we intend to run a tight ship where parsing is front and center. Outside of our game oriented goals we intend to create a second home for our raiders with top quality banter, the dankest of memery and most of all a place where we can feel like one big friend group.

Efficient Clears

We are not into speed running but we keep pace with quick and efficinet clears.

Parsing

We are parse minded who push ourselves to excel each & every raid. But we don't wait for Reck for each boss.

Gearing

We award gear strategically to push progression harder and faster. But we don't run split runs.

Laughs & Gaffs

We play seriously at the keyboard - While joking and laughing on voice.

Defining Semi-hardcore

The word is used to describe 90% of guilds in WoW today, even tho they differ drastically from each other. Our definition of the word is: We want all our raiders to have the ambition and drive to parse in the 95+ range consistantly, but we accept people who are far lower then that. With the caveat that the person is open to feedback, hungry to learn and clearly display a willingness to improve from week to week. We rather have a person who fits in socially with blue parses that improves over time, then a mime artist with 99 average. That said, if a person is below epic parses and does not show a willingness to improve they will be on the chopping block.
